
India’s leading commodity derivatives exchange, Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX) has recorded turnover of Rs.169500.46 crores in various futures & option contracts for commodities listed at MCX on Monday, June 30, 2025 till 4:15 pm. In which commodity futures accounted for Rs. 14654.01 crores and options on commodity futures for Rs. 154844.1 crores (notional). Bullion Index MCXBULLDEX Jul-25 futures was reached at 22405.
Commodity Future Contracts:
Bullion: In precious metals, Turnover of GOLD and SILVER futures variants clocked Rs. 11911.33 crores. At the time of writing, MCX GOLD futures, with August-2025 expiry contract was up by Rs.470 or 0.49% to Rs. 95940 per 10 gram, GOLDTEN June-2025 contract was up by Rs.118 or 0.12% to Rs. 96181 per 10 gram, GOLDGUINEA June-2025 contract was up by Rs.343 or 0.44% to Rs. 77999 per 8 gram and GOLDPETAL June-2025 contract was down by Rs.23 or 0.24% to Rs. 9730 per gram. On other hand, GOLDM July-2025 contract was up by Rs.492 or 0.52% to Rs. 95400 per 10 gram.
SILVER futures, with July expiry contract was up by Rs.242 or 0.23% to Rs. 105470 per kg, while SILVERM June-2025 contract was down by Rs.52 or 0.05% to Rs. 105200 per kg and SILVERMIC June-2025 contract was up by Rs.148 or 0.14% to Rs. 105131 per kg.
GOLD futures clocked turnover of Rs. 6559.85 crores with volume of 6840 lots and OI of 15734 lots while SILVER futures clocked turnover of Rs. 1797.44 crores with volume of 5633 lots and OI of 18597 lots.
Base Metal: Turnover of base metal futures products accounted for Rs. 881.07 crores. COPPER June-2025 contract was up by Rs.0.75 or 0.08% to Rs. 888.7 per kg and ZINC June-2025 contract was up by Rs.1.25 or 0.49% to Rs. 258 per kg while ALUMINIUM June-2025 contract was up by Rs.3.15 or 1.28% to Rs. 250 per kg and LEAD June-2025 contract was up by Rs.2.1 or 1.19% to Rs. 179 per kg.
COPPER futures clocked turnover of Rs. 614.61 crores, ALUMINIUM futures Rs. 57.54 crores, LEAD futures Rs. 12.92 crores, and ZINC futures clocked turnover of Rs. 128.33 crores.
Energy: Turnover of energy futures products contributed for Rs. 1750.69 crores. CRUDEOIL July-2025 contract was up by Rs.14 or 0.25% to Rs. 5615 per BBL while NATURALGAS July-2025 contract was down by Rs.11 or 3.45% to Rs. 307.7 per MMBTU.
CRUDE OIL futures clocked turnover of Rs. 354.03 crores and NATURAL GAS futures Rs. 1104.13 crores.
AGRI: MENTHAOIL June-2025 contract was down by Rs.1.9 or 0.21% to Rs. 911 per kg and COTTONCNDY July-2025 contract was up by Rs.980 or 1.85% to Rs. 54020 per candy.

Commodity Options accounted for Rs. 154844.1 crores turnover (notional), having premium turnover of Rs. 914.07 crores.
CRUDE OIL Options: Most traded contracts among CRUDE OIL Options were Call Option July contract at Strike price of Rs.5600 was up by Rs.2.1 or 1.13% to Rs. 188.40 with volume of 40262 lots & OI of 12543 lots, while CRUDE OIL Put Option July-2025 contract at Strike price of Rs.5600 was down by Rs.8.3 or 4.5% to Rs. 176 with volume of 29114 lots & OI of 10353 lots.
NATURAL GAS Options: Most traded contracts among NATURAL GAS Options were Call Option July contract at Strike price of Rs.310 was down by Rs.6.65 or 27.14% to Rs. 17.85 with volume of 8803 lots & OI of 4436 lots, while NATURAL GAS Put Option July-2025 contract at Strike price of Rs.310 was up by Rs.4.45 or 28.34% to Rs. 20.15 with volume of 10313 lots & OI of 4145 lots.
GOLD Options: Most traded contracts among GOLD Options were Call Option June-2025 contract at Strike price of Rs.96000 was up by Rs.67 or 43.23% to Rs. 222 with volume of 18409 lots & OI of 1348 lots, while GOLD Put Option June-2025 contract at Strike price of Rs.95000 was down by Rs.129 or 78.18% to Rs. 36 with volume of 16782 lots & OI of 2746 lots.
SILVER Options: Most traded contracts among SILVER Options were Call Option July contract at Strike price of Rs.106000 was up by Rs.113 or 3.74% to Rs. 3133.5 with volume of 314 lots & OI of 232 lots, while SILVER Put Option July-2025 contract at Strike price of Rs.100000 was down by Rs.81 or 12.04% to Rs. 591.5 with volume of 334 lots & OI of 552 lots.
