Mumbai : India’s leading commodity derivatives exchange, Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX) has recorded turnover of Rs.81024.42 crores in various futures & option contracts for commodities listed at MCX on Friday, June 20, 2025 till 4:00 pm. In which commodity futures accounted for Rs. 18353.18 crores and options on commodity futures for Rs. 62668.42 crores (notional). Bullion Index MCXBULLDEX Jun-25 futures was reached at 22939.
Commodity Future Contracts:
Bullion: In precious metals, Turnover of GOLD and SILVER futures variants clocked Rs. 15111.85 crores. At the time of writing, MCX GOLD futures, with August-2025 expiry contract was down by Rs.489 or 0.49% to Rs. 98840 per 10 gram, GOLDTEN June-2025 contract was down by Rs.460 or 0.46% to Rs. 98623 per 10 gram, GOLDGUINEA June-2025 contract was down by Rs.367 or 0.46% to Rs. 79299 per 8 gram and GOLDPETAL June-2025 contract was down by Rs.36 or 0.36% to Rs. 9934 per gram. On other hand, GOLDM July-2025 contract was down by Rs.473 or 0.48% to Rs. 98395 per 10 gram.
SILVER futures, with July expiry contract was down by Rs.828 or 0.77% to Rs. 106565 per kg, while SILVERM June-2025 contract was down by Rs.840 or 0.78% to Rs. 106212 per kg and SILVERMIC June-2025 contract was down by Rs.865 or 0.81% to Rs. 106170 per kg.
GOLD futures clocked turnover of Rs. 5677.56 crores with volume of 5750 lots and OI of 15727 lots while SILVER futures clocked turnover of Rs. 3912.72 crores with volume of 12285 lots and OI of 20176 lots.
Base Metal: Turnover of base metal futures products accounted for Rs. 1278.51 crores. COPPER June-2025 contract was up by Rs.0.25 or 0.03% to Rs. 878.55 per kg and ZINC June-2025 contract was down by Rs.0.7 or 0.28% to Rs. 252.95 per kg while ALUMINIUM June-2025 contract was down by Rs.0.95 or 0.39% to Rs. 244.25 per kg and LEAD June-2025 contract was down by Rs.0.6 or 0.33% to Rs. 178.7 per kg.
COPPER futures clocked turnover of Rs. 902.74 crores, ALUMINIUM futures Rs. 155.28 crores, LEAD futures Rs. 22.96 crores, and ZINC futures clocked turnover of Rs. 130.51 crores.
Energy: Turnover of energy futures products contributed for Rs. 1703.96 crores. CRUDEOIL July-2025 contract was down by Rs.39 or 0.6% to Rs. 6410 per BBL while NATURALGAS June-2025 contract was up by Rs.0.6 or 0.17% to Rs. 353.3 per MMBTU.
CRUDE OIL futures clocked turnover of Rs. 708.12 crores and NATURAL GAS futures Rs. 734.15 crores.
AGRI: MENTHAOIL June-2025 contract was up by Rs.1.4 or 0.15% to Rs. 924 per kg and COTTONCNDY July-2025 contract was up by Rs.300 or 0.57% to Rs. 53300 per candy.

Commodity Options accounted for Rs. 62668.42 crores turnover (notional), having premium turnover of Rs. 943.81 crores.
CRUDE OIL Options: Most traded contracts among CRUDE OIL Options were Call Option July contract at Strike price of Rs.6500 was down by Rs.28.8 or 6.37% to Rs. 423.30 with volume of 12456 lots & OI of 4667 lots, while CRUDE OIL Put Option July-2025 contract at Strike price of Rs.6000 was down by Rs.1.7 or 0.72% to Rs. 234.1 with volume of 8660 lots & OI of 3642 lots.
NATURAL GAS Options: Most traded contracts among NATURAL GAS Options were Call Option June contract at Strike price of Rs.350 was up by Rs.0.6 or 6.25% to Rs. 10.20 with volume of 16798 lots & OI of 8757 lots, while NATURAL GAS Put Option June-2025 contract at Strike price of Rs.350 was down by Rs.0.05 or 0.72% to Rs. 6.9 with volume of 22203 lots & OI of 9633 lots.
GOLD Options: Most traded contracts among GOLD Options were Call Option June-2025 contract at Strike price of Rs.100000 was down by Rs.253.5 or 29.46% to Rs. 607 with volume of 2102 lots & OI of 1237 lots, while GOLD Put Option June-2025 contract at Strike price of Rs.98000 was up by Rs.108.5 or 18.99% to Rs. 680 with volume of 2163 lots & OI of 884 lots.
SILVER Options: Most traded contracts among SILVER Options were Call Option June contract at Strike price of Rs.108000 was down by Rs.266.5 or 27.12% to Rs. 716 with volume of 4925 lots & OI of 1099 lots, while SILVER Put Option June-2025 contract at Strike price of Rs.106000 was up by Rs.322 or 49.61% to Rs. 971 with volume of 4422 lots & OI of 667 lots.
