
Mumbai : India’s leading commodity derivatives exchange, Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX) has recorded turnover of Rs.105146.72 crores in various futures & option contracts for commodities listed at MCX on Wednesday, June 25, 2025 till 4:00 pm. In which commodity futures accounted for Rs. 12134.54 crores and options on commodity futures for Rs. 93001.67 crores (notional). Bullion Index MCXBULLDEX Jul-25 futures was reached at 22561.
Commodity Future Contracts:
Bullion: In precious metals, Turnover of GOLD and SILVER futures variants clocked Rs. 9657.76 crores. At the time of writing, MCX GOLD futures, with August-2025 expiry contract was up by Rs.276 or 0.28% to Rs. 97299 per 10 gram, GOLDTEN June-2025 contract was up by Rs.283 or 0.29% to Rs. 96713 per 10 gram, GOLDGUINEA June-2025 contract was up by Rs.298 or 0.38% to Rs. 77736 per 8 gram and GOLDPETAL June-2025 contract was up by Rs.115 or 1.18% to Rs. 9820 per gram. On other hand, GOLDM July-2025 contract was up by Rs.246 or 0.25% to Rs. 96767 per 10 gram.
SILVER futures, with July expiry contract was down by Rs.65 or 0.06% to Rs. 104852 per kg, while SILVERM June-2025 contract was up by Rs.168 or 0.16% to Rs. 104400 per kg and SILVERMIC June-2025 contract was down by Rs.116 or 0.11% to Rs. 104275 per kg.
GOLD futures clocked turnover of Rs. 3631.69 crores with volume of 3730 lots and OI of 15315 lots while SILVER futures clocked turnover of Rs. 2465.73 crores with volume of 7777 lots and OI of 19196 lots.
Base Metal: Turnover of base metal futures products accounted for Rs. 1067.55 crores. COPPER June-2025 contract was up by Rs.1.8 or 0.21% to Rs. 876.4 per kg and ZINC June-2025 contract was up by Rs.0.05 or 0.02% to Rs. 254.2 per kg while ALUMINIUM June-2025 contract was down by Rs.0.45 or 0.18% to Rs. 245 per kg and LEAD June-2025 contract was up by Rs.0.55 or 0.31% to Rs. 178.2 per kg.
COPPER futures clocked turnover of Rs. 677.98 crores, ALUMINIUM futures Rs. 73.85 crores, LEAD futures Rs. 30.00 crores, and ZINC futures clocked turnover of Rs. 210.29 crores.
Energy: Turnover of energy futures products contributed for Rs. 1405.34 crores. CRUDEOIL July-2025 contract was up by Rs.10 or 0.18% to Rs. 5593 per BBL while NATURALGAS June-2025 contract was down by Rs.3.7 or 1.21% to Rs. 302.3 per MMBTU.
CRUDE OIL futures clocked turnover of Rs. 528.92 crores and NATURAL GAS futures Rs. 654.22 crores.
AGRI: MENTHAOIL June-2025 contract was up by Rs.6.6 or 0.72% to Rs. 922 per kg .
Options on Commodity Future Contracts:
Commodity Options accounted for Rs. 93001.67 crores turnover (notional), having premium turnover of Rs. 771.1 crores.
CRUDE OIL Options: Most traded contracts among CRUDE OIL Options were Call Option July contract at Strike price of Rs.5600 was down by Rs.1.4 or 0.63% to Rs. 219.30 with volume of 25906 lots & OI of 7151 lots, while CRUDE OIL Put Option July-2025 contract at Strike price of Rs.5600 was down by Rs.12.8 or 5.37% to Rs. 225.7 with volume of 24849 lots & OI of 6378 lots.
NATURAL GAS Options: Most traded contracts among NATURAL GAS Options were Call Option July contract at Strike price of Rs.320 was down by Rs.0.75 or 3.89% to Rs. 18.55 with volume of 4082 lots & OI of 2338 lots, while NATURAL GAS Put Option July-2025 contract at Strike price of Rs.300 was up by Rs.1 or 7.6% to Rs. 14.15 with volume of 6081 lots & OI of 4351 lots.
GOLD Options: Most traded contracts among GOLD Options were Call Option June-2025 contract at Strike price of Rs.99000 was down by Rs.5.5 or 3.74% to Rs. 141.5 with volume of 2689 lots & OI of 1442 lots, while GOLD Put Option June-2025 contract at Strike price of Rs.97000 was down by Rs.158.5 or 21.46% to Rs. 580 with volume of 2558 lots & OI of 1002 lots.
SILVER Options: Most traded contracts among SILVER Options were Call Option June contract at Strike price of Rs.106000 was down by Rs.136 or 60.31% to Rs. 89.5 with volume of 17160 lots & OI of 1683 lots, while SILVER Put Option June-2025 contract at Strike price of Rs.104000 was down by Rs.83 or 30.46% to Rs. 189.5 with volume of 17194 lots & OI of 2072 lots.
