
Mumbai : India’s leading commodity derivatives exchange, Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX) has recorded turnover of Rs.95157.06 crores in various futures & option contracts for commodities listed at MCX on Monday, June 23, 2025 till 4:00 pm. In which commodity futures accounted for Rs. 14307.12 crores and options on commodity futures for Rs. 80848.22 crores (notional). Bullion Index MCXBULLDEX Jun-25 futures was reached at 23029.
Commodity Future Contracts:
Bullion: In precious metals, Turnover of GOLD and SILVER futures variants clocked Rs. 9573.29 crores. At the time of writing, MCX GOLD futures, with August-2025 expiry contract was up by Rs.181 or 0.18% to Rs. 99290 per 10 gram, GOLDTEN June-2025 contract was up by Rs.238 or 0.24% to Rs. 99030 per 10 gram, GOLDGUINEA June-2025 contract was up by Rs.39 or 0.05% to Rs. 79461 per 8 gram and GOLDPETAL June-2025 contract was up by Rs.16 or 0.16% to Rs. 9964 per gram. On other hand, GOLDM July-2025 contract was up by Rs.201 or 0.2% to Rs. 98775 per 10 gram.
SILVER futures, with July expiry contract was up by Rs.731 or 0.69% to Rs. 106955 per kg, while SILVERM June-2025 contract was up by Rs.728 or 0.69% to Rs. 106539 per kg and SILVERMIC June-2025 contract was up by Rs.736 or 0.7% to Rs. 106550 per kg. GOLD futures clocked turnover of Rs. 4375.02 crores with volume of 4412 lots and OI of 16339 lots while SILVER futures clocked turnover of Rs. 1643.63 crores with volume of 5118 lots and OI of 20012 lots.
Base Metal: Turnover of base metal futures products accounted for Rs. 1527.14 crores. COPPER June-2025 without any changes 880.4 per kg and ZINC June-2025 contract was up by Rs.1.9 or 0.75% to Rs. 255.2 per kg while ALUMINIUM June-2025 contract was up by Rs.1.8 or 0.73% to Rs. 248.3 per kg and LEAD June-2025 contract was up by Rs.0.05 or 0.03% to Rs. 178.85 per kg.
COPPER futures clocked turnover of Rs. 811.36 crores, ALUMINIUM futures Rs. 309.44 crores, LEAD futures Rs. 18.88 crores, and ZINC futures clocked turnover of Rs. 255.13 crores.
Energy: Turnover of energy futures products contributed for Rs. 3037.15 crores. CRUDEOIL July-2025 contract was up by Rs.60 or 0.94% to Rs. 6464 per BBL while NATURALGAS June-2025 contract was up by Rs.2.6 or 0.78% to Rs. 335.7 per MMBTU. CRUDE OIL futures clocked turnover of Rs. 1345.60 crores and NATURAL GAS futures Rs. 1251.83 crores.
AGRI: MENTHAOIL June-2025 contract was down by Rs.2.8 or 0.3% to Rs. 922 per kg .
Options on Commodity Future Contracts:
Commodity Options accounted for Rs. 80848.22 crores turnover (notional), having premium turnover of Rs. 1319.12 crores. CRUDE OIL Options: Most traded contracts among CRUDE OIL Options were Call Option July contract at Strike price of Rs.6500 was up by Rs.1 or 0.24% to Rs. 422.00 with volume of 24439 lots & OI of 7609 lots, while CRUDE OIL Put Option July-2025 contract at Strike price of Rs.6500 was down by Rs.59.9 or 11.64% to Rs. 454.5 with volume of 11657 lots & OI of 2640 lots.
NATURAL GAS Options: Most traded contracts among NATURAL GAS Options were Call Option June contract at Strike price of Rs.340 was down by Rs.0.85 or 22.67% to Rs. 2.90 with volume of 65977 lots & OI of 10627 lots, while NATURAL GAS Put Option June-2025 contract at Strike price of Rs.330 was down by Rs.3.1 or 62.63% to Rs. 1.85 with volume of 56318 lots & OI of 11099 lots.
GOLD Options: Most traded contracts among GOLD Options were Call Option June-2025 contract at Strike price of Rs.100000 was up by Rs.2.5 or 0.42% to Rs. 602.5 with volume of 2529 lots & OI of 1192 lots, while GOLD Put Option June-2025 contract at Strike price of Rs.98000 was down by Rs.90 or 18.05% to Rs. 408.5 with volume of 2020 lots & OI of 1052 lots.
SILVER Options: Most traded contracts among SILVER Options were Call Option June contract at Strike price of Rs.107000 was up by Rs.142.5 or 20.44% to Rs. 839.5 with volume of 4249 lots & OI of 683 lots, while SILVER Put Option June-2025 contract at Strike price of Rs.105000 was down by Rs.242 or 47.78% to Rs. 264.5 with volume of 3461 lots & OI of 1336 lots.
