
Mumbai : India’s leading commodity derivatives exchange, Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX) has recorded turnover of Rs.97815.96 crores in various futures & option contracts for commodities listed at MCX on Wednesday, June 11, 2025 till 4:00 pm. In which commodity futures accounted for Rs. 13491.57 crores and options on commodity futures for Rs. 84321.6 crores (notional). Bullion Index MCXBULLDEX Jun-25 futures was reached at 22585.
Commodity Future Contracts:
Bullion: In precious metals, Turnover of GOLD and SILVER futures variants clocked Rs. 9974.06 crores. At the time of writing, MCX GOLD futures, with August-2025 expiry contract was up by Rs.123 or 0.13% to Rs. 97025 per 10 gram, GOLDTEN June-2025 contract was up by Rs.41 or 0.04% to Rs. 96740 per 10 gram, GOLDGUINEA June-2025 contract was up by Rs.58 or 0.07% to Rs. 77785 per 8 gram and GOLDPETAL June-2025 contract was up by Rs.10 or 0.1% to Rs. 9755 per gram. On other hand, GOLDM July-2025 contract was up by Rs.130 or 0.13% to Rs. 96572 per 10 gram.
SILVER futures, with July expiry contract was down by Rs.826 or 0.77% to Rs. 105923 per kg, while SILVERM June-2025 contract was down by Rs.754 or 0.71% to Rs. 105700 per kg and SILVERMIC June-2025 contract was down by Rs.750 or 0.7% to Rs. 105720 per kg.
GOLD futures clocked turnover of Rs. 3995.61 crores with volume of 4109 lots and OI of 14380 lots while SILVER futures clocked turnover of Rs. 2419.98 crores with volume of 7586 lots and OI of 24661 lots.
Base Metal: Turnover of base metal futures products accounted for Rs. 1889.49 crores. COPPER June-2025 contract was down by Rs.7.95 or 0.9% to Rs. 871 per kg and ZINC June-2025 contract was up by Rs.0.8 or 0.32% to Rs. 253.15 per kg while ALUMINIUM June-2025 contract was up by Rs.1.6 or 0.66% to Rs. 242.25 per kg and LEAD June-2025 contract was down by Rs.0.05 or 0.03% to Rs. 178.9 per kg.
COPPER futures clocked turnover of Rs. 1257.02 crores, ALUMINIUM futures Rs. 163.94 crores, LEAD futures Rs. 25.98 crores, and ZINC futures clocked turnover of Rs. 324.73 crores.
Energy: Turnover of energy futures products contributed for Rs. 1626.81 crores. CRUDEOIL June-2025 contract was up by Rs.55 or 0.99% to Rs. 5638 per BBL while NATURALGAS June-2025 contract was up by Rs.3.5 or 1.16% to Rs. 305.5 per MMBTU.
CRUDE OIL futures clocked turnover of Rs. 764.96 crores and NATURAL GAS futures Rs. 644.81 crores.
AGRI: MENTHAOIL June-2025 contract was up by Rs.1.4 or 0.15% to Rs. 911 per kg .
Options on Commodity Future Contracts:
Commodity Options accounted for Rs. 84321.6 crores turnover (notional), having premium turnover of Rs. 1171.72 crores.
CRUDE OIL Options: Most traded contracts among CRUDE OIL Options were Call Option June contract at Strike price of Rs.5600 was up by Rs.26.7 or 32.68% to Rs. 108.40 with volume of 140733 lots & OI of 14755 lots, while CRUDE OIL Put Option June-2025 contract at Strike price of Rs.5600 was down by Rs.27.9 or 27.96% to Rs. 71.9 with volume of 120939 lots & OI of 22931 lots.
NATURAL GAS Options: Most traded contracts among NATURAL GAS Options were Call Option June contract at Strike price of Rs.310 was up by Rs.1.5 or 14.78% to Rs. 11.65 with volume of 8947 lots & OI of 6987 lots, while NATURAL GAS Put Option June-2025 contract at Strike price of Rs.300 was down by Rs.1.6 or 12.96% to Rs. 10.75 with volume of 11031 lots & OI of 7113 lots.
GOLD Options: Most traded contracts among GOLD Options were Call Option June-2025 contract at Strike price of Rs.97000 was up by Rs.28.5 or 1.91% to Rs. 1520 with volume of 748 lots & OI of 500 lots, while GOLD Put Option June-2025 contract at Strike price of Rs.96000 was down by Rs.92.5 or 8.4% to Rs. 1008.5 with volume of 1293 lots & OI of 904 lots.
SILVER Options: Most traded contracts among SILVER Options were Call Option June contract at Strike price of Rs.108000 was down by Rs.436 or 23.85% to Rs. 1392 with volume of 940 lots & OI of 372 lots, while SILVER Put Option June-2025 contract at Strike price of Rs.105000 was up by Rs.219.5 or 13.84% to Rs. 1805 with volume of 1823 lots & OI of 775 lots.
