Mumbai : India’s leading commodity derivatives exchange, Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX) has recorded turnover of Rs.1495374.98 crores in various futures & option contracts for commodities listed at MCX during the week of June 6 to 12. In which commodity futures accounted for Rs. 194523.21 crores and options on commodity futures for Rs. 1300810.18 crores (notional). Bullion Index MCXBULLDEX Jun-25 futures was reached at 22813.
Commodity Future Contracts:
Bullion: In precious metals, Turnover of GOLD and SILVER futures variants clocked Rs. 142866.63 crores. MCX GOLD futures, with August-2025 expiry contract was up by Rs.518 or 0.53% to Rs. 98392 per 10 gram, GOLDTEN June-2025 contract was up by Rs.319 or 0.33% to Rs. 97969 per 10 gram, GOLDGUINEA June-2025 contract was up by Rs.268 or 0.34% to Rs. 78582 per 8 gram and GOLDPETAL June-2025 contract was up by Rs.32 or 0.33% to Rs. 9848 per gram. On other hand, GOLDM July-2025 contract was up by Rs.371 or 0.38% to Rs. 97786 per 10 gram.
SILVER futures, with July expiry contract was up by Rs.1442 or 1.38% to Rs. 105885 per kg, while SILVERM June-2025 contract was up by Rs.1412 or 1.35% to Rs. 105622 per kg and SILVERMIC June-2025 contract was up by Rs.1403 or 1.35% to Rs. 105605 per kg.
GOLD futures clocked turnover of Rs. 62572.29 crores with volume of 64190 lots and OI of 15529 lots while SILVER futures clocked turnover of Rs. 27650.52 crores with volume of 86862 lots and OI of 17885 lots.
Base Metal: Turnover of base metal futures products accounted for Rs. 11964.39 crores. COPPER June-2025 contract was down by Rs.5.35 or 0.61% to Rs. 874.85 per kg and ZINC June-2025 contract was down by Rs.3.25 or 1.27% to Rs. 252.1 per kg while ALUMINIUM June-2025 contract was up by Rs.2.3 or 0.96% to Rs. 242.6 per kg and LEAD June-2025 contract was up by Rs.0.2 or 0.11% to Rs. 179.6 per kg.
COPPER futures clocked turnover of Rs. 7625.88 crores, ALUMINIUM futures Rs. 1084.52 crores, LEAD futures Rs. 315.17 crores, and ZINC futures clocked turnover of Rs. 2167.19 crores.
Energy: Turnover of energy futures products contributed for Rs. 39681.90 crores. CRUDEOIL June-2025 contract was up by Rs.402 or 7.39% to Rs. 5844 per BBL while NATURALGAS June-2025 contract was down by Rs.20.6 or 6.44% to Rs. 299.1 per MMBTU.
CRUDE OIL futures clocked turnover of Rs. 9795.12 crores and NATURAL GAS futures Rs. 24340.89 crores.
AGRI: MENTHAOIL June-2025 contract was up by Rs.28.8 or 3.19% to Rs. 932 per kg and COTTONCNDY July-2025 contract was down by Rs.450 or 0.84% to Rs. 53150 per candy.
