
Mumbai : India’s leading commodity derivatives exchange, Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX) has recorded turnover of Rs.61625.49 crores in various futures & option contracts for commodities listed at MCX on Friday, June 06, 2025 till 4:30 pm. In which commodity futures accounted for Rs. 15291.97 crores and options on commodity futures for Rs. 46330.72 crores (notional). Bullion Index MCXBULLDEX Jun-25 futures was reached at 22693.
Commodity Future Contracts:
Bullion: In precious metals, Turnover of GOLD and SILVER futures variants clocked Rs. 12383.44 crores. At the time of writing, MCX GOLD futures, with August-2025 expiry without any changes 97878 per 10 gram, GOLDTEN June-2025 contract was down by Rs.27 or 0.03% to Rs. 97623 per 10 gram, GOLDGUINEA June-2025 contract was up by Rs.75 or 0.1% to Rs. 78389 per 8 gram and GOLDPETAL June-2025 contract was up by Rs.4 or 0.04% to Rs. 9820 per gram. On other hand, GOLDM July-2025 contract was up by Rs.35 or 0.04% to Rs. 97450 per 10 gram.
SILVER futures, with July expiry contract was up by Rs.1244 or 1.19% to Rs. 105687 per kg, while SILVERM June-2025 contract was up by Rs.1246 or 1.2% to Rs. 105456 per kg and SILVERMIC June-2025 contract was up by Rs.1260 or 1.21% to Rs. 105462 per kg.
GOLD futures clocked turnover of Rs. 4459.27 crores with volume of 4544 lots and OI of 15762 lots while SILVER futures clocked turnover of Rs. 2967.17 crores with volume of 9347 lots and OI of 25096 lots.
Base Metal: Turnover of base metal futures products accounted for Rs. 1417.11 crores. COPPER June-2025 contract was down by Rs.4.45 or 0.51% to Rs. 875.75 per kg and ZINC June-2025 contract was down by Rs.2.2 or 0.86% to Rs. 253.15 per kg while ALUMINIUM June-2025 contract was down by Rs.2.6 or 1.08% to Rs. 237.7 per kg and LEAD June-2025 contract was down by Rs.0.2 or 0.11% to Rs. 179.2 per kg.
COPPER futures clocked turnover of Rs. 916.90 crores, ALUMINIUM futures Rs. 128.50 crores, LEAD futures Rs. 26.60 crores, and ZINC futures clocked turnover of Rs. 247.36 crores.
Energy: Turnover of energy futures products contributed for Rs. 1442.29 crores. CRUDEOIL June-2025 contract was down by Rs.12 or 0.22% to Rs. 5430 per BBL while NATURALGAS June-2025 contract was down by Rs.0.4 or 0.13% to Rs. 319.3 per MMBTU.
CRUDE OIL futures clocked turnover of Rs. 362.38 crores and NATURAL GAS futures Rs. 846.77 crores.
AGRI: MENTHAOIL June-2025 contract was up by Rs.2.5 or 0.28% to Rs. 905 per kg and COTTONCNDY July-2025 contract was down by Rs.500 or 0.93% to Rs. 53100 per candy.
Options on Commodity Future Contracts:
Commodity Options accounted for Rs. 46330.72 crores turnover (notional), having premium turnover of Rs. 799.12 crores.
CRUDE OIL Options: Most traded contracts among CRUDE OIL Options were Call Option June contract at Strike price of Rs.5400 was down by Rs.8.5 or 6.01% to Rs. 132.90 with volume of 56758 lots & OI of 17049 lots, while CRUDE OIL Put Option June-2025 contract at Strike price of Rs.5400 was down by Rs.0.2 or 0.2% to Rs. 101 with volume of 54660 lots & OI of 19045 lots.
NATURAL GAS Options: Most traded contracts among NATURAL GAS Options were Call Option June contract at Strike price of Rs.320 was down by Rs.0.45 or 2.68% to Rs. 16.35 with volume of 11456 lots & OI of 6937 lots, while NATURAL GAS Put Option June-2025 contract at Strike price of Rs.320 was down by Rs.0.1 or 0.58% to Rs. 17.1 with volume of 10224 lots & OI of 5305 lots.
GOLD Options: Most traded contracts among GOLD Options were Call Option June-2025 contract at Strike price of Rs.98000 was up by Rs.21.5 or 1.3% to Rs. 1675 with volume of 885 lots & OI of 487 lots, while GOLD Put Option June-2025 contract at Strike price of Rs.96000 was up by Rs.24 or 2.62% to Rs. 939 with volume of 924 lots & OI of 776 lots.
SILVER Options: Most traded contracts among SILVER Options were Call Option June contract at Strike price of Rs.105000 was up by Rs.723.5 or 28.84% to Rs. 3232 with volume of 1228 lots & OI of 1112 lots, while SILVER Put Option June-2025 contract at Strike price of Rs.100000 was down by Rs.149 or 15.17% to Rs. 833.5 with volume of 1743 lots & OI of 2011 lots.
