Mumbai : India’s leading commodity derivatives exchange, Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX) has recorded turnover of Rs.86780.85 crores in various futures & option contracts for commodities listed at MCX on Monday, June 02, 2025 till 4:30 pm. In which commodity futures accounted for Rs. 20278.16 crores and options on commodity futures for Rs. 66501.89 crores (notional). Bullion Index MCXBULLDEX Jun-25 futures was reached at 22164.
Commodity Future Contracts:
Bullion: In precious metals, Turnover of GOLD and SILVER futures variants clocked Rs. 15193.12 crores. At the time of writing, MCX GOLD futures, with June-2025 expiry contract was up by Rs.1606 or 1.7% to Rs. 96250 per 10 gram, GOLDTEN June-2025 contract was up by Rs.1119 or 1.17% to Rs. 96830 per 10 gram, GOLDGUINEA June-2025 contract was up by Rs.720 or 0.94% to Rs. 77580 per 8 gram and GOLDPETAL June-2025 contract was up by Rs.96 or 1% to Rs. 9728 per gram. On other hand, GOLDM June-2025 contract was up by Rs.1468 or 1.55% to Rs. 96180 per 10 gram.
SILVER futures, with July expiry contract was up by Rs.853 or 0.88% to Rs. 97868 per kg, while SILVERM June-2025 contract was up by Rs.839 or 0.87% to Rs. 97819 per kg and SILVERMIC June-2025 contract was up by Rs.836 or 0.86% to Rs. 97822 per kg.
GOLD futures clocked turnover of Rs. 6434.60 crores with volume of 6635 lots and OI of 15771 lots while SILVER futures clocked turnover of Rs. 2636.15 crores with volume of 8955 lots and OI of 20832 lots.
Base Metal: Turnover of base metal futures products accounted for Rs. 1688.78 crores. COPPER June-2025 contract was up by Rs.7.25 or 0.84% to Rs. 868.2 per kg and ZINC June-2025 contract was up by Rs.2.35 or 0.94% to Rs. 253.35 per kg while ALUMINIUM June-2025 contract was up by Rs.0.1 or 0.04% to Rs. 236.55 per kg and LEAD June-2025 contract was up by Rs.0.5 or 0.28% to Rs. 178.35 per kg.
COPPER futures clocked turnover of Rs. 1161.97 crores, ALUMINIUM futures Rs. 116.33 crores, LEAD futures Rs. 14.25 crores, and ZINC futures clocked turnover of Rs. 288.88 crores.
Energy: Turnover of energy futures products contributed for Rs. 3233.31 crores. CRUDEOIL June-2025 contract was up by Rs.215 or 4.13% to Rs. 5418 per BBL while NATURALGAS June-2025 contract was up by Rs.17.7 or 5.97% to Rs. 314.1 per MMBTU.
CRUDE OIL futures clocked turnover of Rs. 1227.73 crores and NATURAL GAS futures Rs. 1521.73 crores.
AGRI: MENTHAOIL June-2025 contract was down by Rs.9.8 or 1.07% to Rs. 903 per kg and COTTONCNDY July-2025 contract was up by Rs.100 or 0.18% to Rs. 54500 per candy.

Commodity Options accounted for Rs. 66501.89 crores turnover (notional), having premium turnover of Rs. 1484.9 crores.
CRUDE OIL Options: Most traded contracts among CRUDE OIL Options were Call Option June contract at Strike price of Rs.5400 was up by Rs.79.4 or 86.97% to Rs. 170.70 with volume of 64715 lots & OI of 11530 lots, while CRUDE OIL Put Option June-2025 contract at Strike price of Rs.5300 was down by Rs.109 or 48.34% to Rs. 116.5 with volume of 63528 lots & OI of 16047 lots.
NATURAL GAS Options: Most traded contracts among NATURAL GAS Options were Call Option June contract at Strike price of Rs.310 was up by Rs.9.4 or 72.87% to Rs. 22.30 with volume of 19753 lots & OI of 3799 lots, while NATURAL GAS Put Option June-2025 contract at Strike price of Rs.300 was down by Rs.7.75 or 38.37% to Rs. 12.45 with volume of 20848 lots & OI of 6986 lots.
GOLD Options: Most traded contracts among GOLD Options were Call Option June-2025 contract at Strike price of Rs.96000 was up by Rs.788.5 or 44.34% to Rs. 2567 with volume of 739 lots & OI of 321 lots, while GOLD Put Option June-2025 contract at Strike price of Rs.95000 was down by Rs.457 or 32.23% to Rs. 961 with volume of 1468 lots & OI of 1181 lots.
SILVER Options: Most traded contracts among SILVER Options were Call Option June contract at Strike price of Rs.100000 was up by Rs.319.5 or 24.84% to Rs. 1605.5 with volume of 1321 lots & OI of 1751 lots, while SILVER Put Option June-2025 contract at Strike price of Rs.97000 was down by Rs.368.5 or 16.15% to Rs. 1913 with volume of 675 lots & OI of 351 lots.
